GAIL POTOCKI: Opened Apples
Gail Potocki, a Chicago-based Symbolist artist, paints in the manner of the Old Masters with thematic influences ranging from the emotional to
the ecological. Gail’s art has been featured in the stunning hardcover The Union of Hope and Sadness and she has exhibited globally, including
most recently a one-woman show at the prestigious Billy Shire Fine Arts in Los Angeles. Her second book featuring works from this exhibition is
titled Opened Apples and is slated for release in 2009.

“Brilliant occult portraits from the Symbolist underworld of the 21st century. More than just paintings, Gail Potocki conducts séances on canvas…”
- Grant Morrison, visionary author, psychic revolutionary, and one of Entertainment Weekly’s “Top 100 Creative People in America”

“A really fantastic artist… It’s refreshing to see a modern painter that has a classic, romantic touch and the skills to add a fresh facet of expression
to the new period of Realism."
- Robert Williams, legendary controversial painter and founder of Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine

JEREMY BASTIAN: The Patient Snail
Jeremy Bastian has made an overwhelming impression with his painstakingly delicate and intricate drawings reminiscent of 19th century fairy
tale illustrations. His long-awaited Cursed Pirate Girl launched in April of 2009.

"It's all too rare that I see work that is truly original- and I almost never see work THIS original... Jeremy Bastian is a genius."
-Mike Mignola, Eisner-award winning creator of "Hellboy"

"This is the stuff that makes other artists jealous and comic readers drool! His clever humor, story, and imagery are a throwback
to classic storytelling any age can enjoy. Cursed Pirate Girl is sure to be his opus."
-David Petersen, Eisner-award winning creator of "Mouse Guard"
